Lunch with Prole: Is Bowie and Jagger's 'Dancing in the Street' video possibly the worst music promo
Well its a Friday and I don't want to get all highbrow but really, SERIOUSLY anyone who has seen this video over the years must be weighing up why the budget for filming was lower than the budget for class A drugs. Happily for us and all the starving kids it was made for, (it was a Live Aid tie-in) this video is now safely stored in time - the image of david Bowie in draylon pjyamas (or an outfit that can only be described as 'criminal') and Mick Jagger in clothes so big Tiny Woods would say he felt they were a bit 'generous'. And then there is the dancing.
Truly one good reason why both artists should have died in the seventies, which in a way they did.
