OK, it's Friday and I'm bored, so me and and a friend have decided to head to York for the evening to get pissed. I've only passed through it before so I'm just wondering is it worth bothering? Are there plenty of places to drink? Any indie clubs? Will we be able to drink late into the night? Anyone know of any cheap hotels?

I'm doing some Googling too but some insider knowledge would be good too.
