Anyone ever been run over? What about any close shaves?

I managed to walk to work today without displaying the ability to cross roads. Yes, I managed to get across roads but it was purely by luck. I did nearly get hit by a cyclist though when I crossed a pelican crossing while the traffic lights were green.
