Hi,

I'm a solo singer-songwriter in a kind of antifolky Nick Cave-meets-Daniel Johnston type-sense.

I've recorded a debut album by mistake (don't ask how - it just sort of happened!) The album's got strings and electric guitars and bass parts and drums and stuff on it and, as I've always played solo acoustic before, I've realised I probably should form a band for live shows.

I'm therefore looking for good musicians (aside from the need for a drummer and a bassist I'm open to what other instruments are involved). I'm not looking to sound identical live as to on record so there's plenty of space for you to be creative.

So why work with me? Well, I'm a nice guy for one thing, and my music genuinely is different from most other stuff. Plus I'm a pretty good live performer. I also think I'm easy to work with in that I'm not dictatorial and once I've found the right people, I'll pretty much give you free rein to play how you want.

I can't claim to have had massive success yet (it's still pretty early days and prior to now I've not tried toohard to get my name out there) but I gig fairly regularly, have done a live session on Resonance FM and tend to get positive feedback from audiences.

I don't necessarily think I'll ever be Kaiser Chiefs/Artic Monkeys-type successful but I genuinely think that, if you're the right person, we can make something strange, catchy and interesting enough to get somewhere.
