Some side effects that are not too serious unless they persist or get worse include dizziness, rapid heartbeat, face flushing, low blood pressure, drowsiness, or headaches. There is one serious reaction than can occur but it is very rare. It will usually occur right after taking the very first dosage of the medication. If you feel any inability to move your arms or legs, are shaky, have extreme weakness or pain in the joints, vision changes or unexplained mood swings contact your physician immediately.
Soma can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Cold or allergy medicine, narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures, depression or anxiety can add to sleepiness caused by Soma. Tell your doctor if you regularly use any of these other medicines. Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase drowsiness and dizziness caused by Soma.

There may be other drugs that can affect Soma. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors.

Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
