ADHD
Atomoxetine is an active ingredient most frequently used to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity syndrome (ADHD). It is an FDA approved drug, defined as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). Atomoxetine is a key ingredient of Strattera and Tomoxetin medications and is often prescribed for effective ADHD treatment.

Atomoxetine is most often prescribed for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder} in both, children and adults. This condition is characterized by restlessness and lack of focus. Atomoxetine works to restore the balance of neurotransmitters in the patient’s brain.
Atomoxetine should be taken in strict compliance with your doctor’s instructions and directions on the prescription label. Do not alter dosage or the prescribed period of use without prior medical consult.

Generally, Atomoxetine should be taken once a day, in the morning or in the late afternoon, with a full glass of water. Individual prescriptions will depend on your condition and should be defined by your medical specialist.

Atomoxetine can also interact with other medications.
If you have missed your dose of Atomoxetine, make sure to take it as soon as possible. However, two doses should never be taken at the same time, so if the time for the next dose has almost come, DO NOT take the dose you have missed.
Atomoxetine should be stored at approximately 77°F (25°C), well out of reach of children and pets. Avoid storing the medication in the bathroom.
