A cross-section of things I like: The Necks, Sly and the Family Drone, Teeth of the Sea, Ben Frost, Perc, etc. Can play the piano and dick about with making noises on computers / electronics reasonably well, and can also get a not-too-awful sound out of a guitar if needed.
