Drummer wanted to join recently signed experimental pop band: London
Talk In Colour are an up-and-coming experimental pop band, recently signed to Faber Music publishing and currently working on a second album, with a growing fan-base and an already impressive gigging and release history (past gigs include Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Simple Things, The End Festival as well as Cargo, Jazz Café, and Kings Place and more).
Our sound has been described as somewhere between electronica, folk, jazz and indie and our influences include: Battles, Radiohead, Broadcast, Talk Talk, Can, Django Django, Boards of Canada and Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Lamb and more.
We are looking for an experienced drummer with a wide-ranging taste in music and desire to experiment.
We like to mix it up rhythmically, so an ability to play in non-standard times and still make it groove is essential! Experience playing to a laptop backing would also be beneficial.
Ideally you own your own kit, and it would be preferable if you’re based in or around London. You must also be able to attend regular rehearsals and gigs.
