We are a guitarist and a bassist whose last band split up recently, looking to start something new and exciting as soon as possible. We have a load of musical ideas that we would like to develop with a drummer and a singer as well as write new material.

Both have 10+ years experience in gigging, recording, etc. (we are 28). We are London based (finsbury park).

First, we're looking for a creative drummer with an ability to play tight, upbeat, creative beats. We're interested in there being an electronic element to the band so ability to play to a click / to an electronic beat would be a bonus.

Second, we're looking for a singer and someone to write lyrics - someone to help us turn the melodic sketches we have into full songs. Alternatively if you are a singer with your own ideas/songs and want a band to work with then we'd be interested in that too.

We have no fixed idea of how we want the music to sound, because we haven't written it yet. It will be upbeat / fun to play but heavy in parts - here are a few influences but really they are just a list of bands I like rather than how I expect this to turn out: LCD Soundsystem, ATDI, Smiths, Foals, Refused
