The World Service formed last year and has developed strongly with original material written and performed live all over London, including the 02 Academy, Cargo and many others. We're just about to release our debut EP ‘Vogel’ and have a follow up 'Hideaway' recorded and ready for release in early 2013.

Our current lineup is Vox, Drums, Bass(& vox) and 2 Guitars. However, we are about to loose our drummer to the lure of a life abroad - hence us recruiting now.

We have parts written, but are happy for a drummer to develop those parts and add an extra dimension to the band’s sound.

We're based in and around Camden, which is where we rehearse. The plan so far has been to create something that’s fun to be a part of, something we can all find creative, inspiring and have a laugh in the process... We currently rehearse once a week and gig 1-2 times a month. We have a fair bit of gigging experience between us, so plenty of contacts on the circuit.
