As the title suggests, I'm putting together an indie/pop/new wave/surf/whatever group, and am on the lookout for a singer aged 18-30 (I'm mid 20s) to front it, as well as other musicians to fill in the gaps.

Vocals are my primary concern at the mo. I'd envisaged female, but am open to the idea of a dude if it works. A unique voice and creative compatibility are more important than gender.

Other musicians could include drums, guitar/bass or even keys/synth depending on how this comes together.

I've put together a pile of (rough) demos and uploaded a couple to http://soundcloud.com/overchill/sets/sketches which should give a reasonable indication of the kind style I'm aiming for. I have more offline also.

Gigs (including a festival new bands stage) should be sorted if I can get this together in the next couple of months.

I'm not so delusional as to expect to make a living from this, but I would like to gig regularly both in and out of London and record further down the line, so only get in touch if you're willing to take this semi-seriously. I have plenty of live and studio experience, so would ideally like to find people with the same, but that isn't essential if all else fits.
