competency required. the parts are really simple but they need to be played with groove, and a few slick embellishments would make all the difference. A decent bassist could walk into it easily. happy for it to be a side project to another band, because the parts really are simple. it's a rock n roll band with a bit of a surf thing going on, bit of a noise thing going on. the whole thing is rooted in a simple beat feel played with a big groove, and the interest is in the guitars, percussion, vocals, horns, so the rhythm has got to be rock solid. we just need that a rock of a bass player to anchor an awesome feel with the drummer. demos are nearly finished, will post as soon as done.
