I'm a solo artist with an album written.. currently recording and the plan this year is to get out and gig as much is possible .. So I'm currently getting some musicians together to play with me (I'm thinking drums/bass/gtr/glock/accordian/violin etc.. for a unique but still indyish sounding group.

I'm into all kinds of music from indie/punk/rock/pop right through to jazz and classical / folk /irish / gypsy folk etc and although all my songs are in the general indie style.. they all tend to draw influence from beyond the usual.

Some main acts I like are the Clash, Libertines, the Jam, the Pogues, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Arcade Fire, Santigold, Foals, Mgmt, Vampire Weekend,Count Basie, Beethoven, Bach

Commitment wise I'm easy.. obviously as a solo artist, it'd free you up for just doing the 'fun playing music' part and none of the 'boring politics' parts!
My previous experience includes playing with signed bands and doing label showcases/festivals/lots of gigs etc. and also producing/engineering signed bands but my life has always been geared towards my own solo music and now finally am doing it.
