Drummer and guitarist seek at least a vocalist and bassist, possibly a keyboard player, in any combination (a singing keyboard player, for instance. Fancy that!), to form a loud, abrasive band in the Manchester/Salford area. Open-minded about the direction, but here's a list of things we've been listening to recently:

Queens of the Stone Age, Black Sabbath, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Throwing Muses, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Joy Division.

No preference in terms of male/female vocals (that said, both at once would be nice). We're in our mid-twenties and have been playing together for years.
