Hello!
I'm looking for a Bassist. I've just had an EP published/released by Special Blend Records. It was a kind of solo project/collective which I'm now turing in to a band (as opposed to just a recorded act).

Influences include: Brocken Social Scene, The National, Deerhunter, Arcade Fire, British Sea Power, Death Cab For Cuties, Radiohead, Yo La Tengo, Pavement, Twilight Sad, Interpol, Modest Mouse, Yeay Yeah Yeahs, Pixies. Hope that gives you an idea of the kind of direction.

You can hear some tracks at www.specialblendrecords.com under 'releases' and listen to the 'Cassette Revival Therapy EP' by King Bear (that's me). Looking to go in a slightly different direction as this was a very much prescribed sound by the label but that's more of a case of making the music together as a band.
