Ok people who know who we are can laugh it up - yes, we are going through another lineup change. To set the record straight on this I have categorically never sacked anyone. I am not a psuedo-psycho like Mark E Smith. I am actually very nice. We have had three emigrations - to Australia, Japan, and Switzerland. We have had three members leave to concentrate on employment. We have had three members leave to concentrate on their own musical projects. We have had one member leave to return to university to study for a Masters. We have had one member leave because he was diagnosed with a long term arm injury that meant he could no longer play the guitar. All in all, we have been pretty unlucky.

So yeah we are now looking for a DRUMMER and a LEAD GUITARIST to join and make it possible to be brilliant.

All I ask is that you can play to the standard of the songs we have, and are FUN. There's also other smallprint like being available to play pretty regularly from May onwards, being a confident and competent live performer, and being able to rehearse a fair bit before then in London / Surrey / Brighton. And looking like Johnny Depp. Ok maybe not the last one, but it wouldn't hurt.

Here are some FACTS :

- We are currently on the roster of Smalltown America Records, which is an ace label based in Northern Ireland / London, run by Jetplane Landing frontman Andrew Ferris. Also on the label are Calories, And So I Watch You From Afar, Alan MX, Let Our Enemies Beware, Ice Sea Dead People, and some other awesome stuff.

- We released our debut album 'Empty, Derivative Pop Songs' in November 2009, and it has received a load of nice press (which you can see a selection of on our myspace) and featured in a fair few blog end of year top 10s which was nice. Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens and Jaimie Hodgson and some other people like that are long time fans.

- Me and Ivan (bass) are currently demoing songs for our second album which we aim to record properly in the summer. I would be absolutely amazed if this wasn't a breakthrough record as it is a massive step up from the first album, and that was getting 8s and 9s and silly reviews like that. Basically if you join, and are committed, you are on to a winner.

So yes. Do you want to be in the best band ever? Well you can't because REM aren't looking for anyone. But you could join 4 or 5 Magicians if you are a guitarist or a drummer and I like you.
