Hello.

Can anyone advise a good distortion pedal for playing chords through? I bought a Big Muff, but it sounds shit when you play anything but solo's or riff's through it. Is there anything that will give a nice rich, layered sound when banging away chords?

I really like the sound on the last Japandroids album, but think the guitarist might use more than one amp to achieve the sound?
