Hi, I'm looking for a band based around Portsmouth.

I've been playing for about 8/9 years now, and I'm pretty technically advanced. I can't play hyper-speed prog math-metal but with enough time and practice I can nail most modern music. I have developed my own style. I like playing something with groove, drive and dynamics.

I have played lots of gigs around Brighton and London with 4 or 5 Magicians (noisy indie pop, still going) and The Self (complex singer-songwritery tunes, not still going). I have a small side-project in Brighton but I'm looking for something more like a main project.

I like pretty much anything rock-based with passion and punch, from Pavement to Converge through Hella, Reuben, Oceansize, DEP, Minutemen and countless bands.

I'm just looking for musicians or a band that's bored of playing the same old stuff, who are creative in their own instrument- whatever that may be- and want to try and create something different and interesting, that doesn't sound like a million other bands past or present.

Otherwise, just good, melodic but energetic pop songs will do me!
