Drummer wanted. Backing vocals (whether melodic for harmonies for a more 90s american indie rock sound or shouty and screaming for that punk rock/riot grrrl kind of sound) a plus.

I play guitar and sing and have songs written. I recorded some songs with a drum machine - can be found on http://www.myspace.com/deafmetal4lyf. Now I need a drummer to bolster my sound and make the songs that I have sound fuller and noisier. Especially if you can do backing vocals. (please note, drum parts will be rewritten and you won't have to play what i did on the drum machine)

Black Flag, The Germs, Bikini Kill, Huggy Bear, Babes in Toyland, Husker Du, Bratmobile, Rites of Spring, Antioch Arrow (and Gravity Records), Hole, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Wavves, Vivian Girls, Mika Miko, Riot Grrrl, C86, Punk, indiepop, the 90s American underground.

Age 20-28. Male or Female. Don't be put off if you're a girl, girls more than welcome.
Preferably North or East London based for ease of hooking up for practices

Semi-serious - regular gigging wanted and hopefully put out records at some point - but not practicing all the time, only once or twice a week. This is about fun and playing music cos we enjoy it primarily, so we must be able to get along well too.
