If you can do any (or all) of the above and you're looking to get involved with something new then get in touch. At present there are three of us, playing drums, guitar, bass and sax between us. The influences which we seem to bring to bear on our music are 5 Style, Talking Heads, Euphone, Fela Kuti, Scotty Moore, Tortoise, bits of Afro pop and a few other scraps of cod-'world music'.

We're looking for a competent and creative keys player to fill out the sound and also take some of the slack for the bassist, who also plays sax, which we're trying to include more of. Congas or other percussion would also be very interesting to us.

If you can sing as well, then all the better. We're steering clear of an outright, lone vocalist because we're looking to keep things instrumental for the majority of our stuff, with vocals used where needed, rather than providing the focus of the music. In this respect, a 'singer' who is happy to spend more time contributing to the music is ideal.

We've got years of gigging, recording, touring and writing experience between us, although this is the first time we've worked together, so you won't be walking into an awkward clique situation. Only one of us is a prick, and you'll enjoy finding out which one of us that is.
