For sale: Squier Jagmaster with "Sustainiac" built-in EBow-like system
I'm going to post this here before I go for eBay, just in case anyone's interested.
This is a sunburst Squier Jagmaster which I've heavily customised. It's one of the recent ones like this: http://www.squierguitars.com/products/index.php?partno=0320700500 so it has the 24" scale length like a Jaguar does, not the longer Jazzmaster scale.
Things I've done to it:
i) Fitted a Sustainiac Stealth Plus sustainer system in place of the neck pickup. See http://www.sustainiac.com for more about that, but it's like having an EBow built into your guitar, except that it can sustain more than one string at a time (albeit not very consistently).
ii) Fitted a Seymour Duncan JB Jr pickup in place of the original neck pickup.
iii) Changed all the wiring, jack plug, etc.
iv) Installed Graphtech String Saver bridge saddles in place of the originals.
v) Stuck a plectrum holder on the back of the headstock (I mention this not as a selling point, but because it might put some people off).
