I'm a singer/guitarist and want to meet some folk musicians - vocalists, bass/double bass, accordian, fiddle/violin, drums/percussion, mandolin/ukulele etc.
I'd like to make some music with a lot of energy and a sense of humour - thinking along the lines of Misty's Big Adventure, Cat Empire maybe.
Musically however, I'm thinking about a more rootsy sound, influences from all sorts of different folk cultures, American or European.
