OK, I haven't really thought this through yet but have decided this evening I want to form an electropop band called the Empty Gestures.

I'm a singer and songwriter (well, I say singer, I've got one of those voices that's got a lot in the way of character but not-so-much in terms of being in tune - think Shane McGowan, Mark E Smith and stuff like that) and already have a band linked here:

We've played Latitude this year, have a Radio 1 session to be broadcast soon and have a small record deal and recently released an album that's had some very nice reviews.)

But I want to try something different as well. In the above band I write the songs and do pretty much all the lead vocals but the plan would be that in this band it'd be quite collaborative and I wouldn't necessarily be the main figure but would ideally have a couple of other vocalists too and maybe they'd sing some songs or we'd have some duets, triets etc.

So what I'm looking for is

a) Another male singer, ideally one who can sing properly in contrast to me

b) a female singer with both character and singing ability

c) Someone or some people who can do electropop music on synths/keyboards or whatever other instruments we decide we need.
