To fill a bill on Saturday 30th August I am seeking a band who are influenced by The Doves, Elbow, The Smiths or similar.
(I appreciate that this is ridiculously short notice)

To fill a bill on Friday 12th September I am looking for interesting bands of all sorts of variety

I also have the odd slot in September, October, November, December, read on...

Plusses...influenced by Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth, Kings of Leon, PJ Harvey, Pavement, electronica, indiepop, bluesy, punky, melodic, folky, leftfield, ambitious. Bands with females in (never enough), bands with keyboards, bands that are different, bands that make the crowd go woo. Or bands that are so beautiful they make the crowd go ah.

We also have a couple of shows that are mainly dance oriented music so if any funk, trip hop, electronica or similar then we may have a home for you too

At a weekend we usually attract a walk by audience of at least 50 people and we also advertise and market everywhere so if bands that we book pull their weight too then we are jammed. However we do not use an outside promoter for these shows so if you cannot attract at least 25 people (and we will pay you ALL the door) to see you at a weekend then please find an empty room somewhere else. And if you sound like The Kooks, Libertines, Razorlight then no offence but I cannot listen to anything else like that for my sanity's sake.

Also if you are the kind of band that make's devil signs with your hands in your pictures then, well that is lovely but it is not our cuppa tea
