I know there's quite a few good bands cropping up out of Leeds, this et al, grammatics, shut your eyes, forward russia, sky larkin, sunshine underground etc. I like all the aformentioned bands and I'm looking to start my own, or join one.

Don't be put off by the heavy-ness/weirdness of the playing. I'd want to be in a band like foals/white rose movement/rapture/ indie/electronic ideally, stuff with squeaky synths and quick hi-hat beats.
