We are in this months Playmusic magazine. We are featured on the front cover alongside Ash, Slipnot and Thirteen Senses! We are the first unsigned band to get ont he cover! You can get hold of it in music shops all over the country. Here is the review, we rather like it:

LOWDRIVE
COVENTRY, COLOSSEUM

We’re here to see if Demo of the Month winners Lowdrive can cut it live. A three piece, they employ an all-out rock assault which never undermines their melodies.

There’s something of Weezer in frontman Steve Jones’ shirt-and-tie shtick, though Lowdrive’s sound is more Sonic Youth. Jones’ guitar lines switch from delicate arpeggio one minute to towering riff the next. He possesses the ability to channel himself simultaneously through his guitar and voice that would impress even Matt Belamy.

Lowdrive play a short sharp set. They were supposed to be supporting Seafood tonight but the headliners pulled out at the last minute. It’s a testament to Lowdrive that they can turn a blown support slot into a headline for their own fans.

So can Lowdrive cut it live? The answer would have to be a triumphant yes!
