Gig swaps - General Khaki, London based band
Through sheer dumb luck, General Khaki have three dates on three consecutive days: Oxford 19th May, Manchester 20th, London 21st.
Obviously, we are beside ourselves with excitement that our disjointed ramble round the country could be turning into our first tour!
Do any bands or promoters have a vacant slot in the days before the 19th (NOT after the 21st) or do you know any promoters, venues or bands who could help out.
We wear sailors' uniforms onstage, and most of our song are about a minute long, with the odd epic broaching the 120-second mark. Obviously, we can't do anything on those dates, nor do we want to do those cities again...yet - if you're based there and want to swap, get in touch about June/July gigs. (8th & 16th June and 30th July are out though) If you're a band looking to gig London, we can probably sort something out at a classy Soho nightspot!
We're particularly eager to play Brighton, Bristol, Sheffield and Liverpool, but consider playing anywhere. We're also looking for another London date in late April or VERY early May, if you're a promoter or band with a gap to fill at short notice.
