Did anyone go then? Anyone got any favourites?

For me the highlight was Bobby Conn. Possibly the most complete show I have ever seen - The songs were great, the performance was great and the band looked great. It left me breathless.

Mclusky were good as always and the new stuff sounds excellant. Arcwelder were imense as were Mogwai. And I finally got to see Part Chimp. Thank god for that as they were excellant.

Mike Watt, Whisper in the noise, the Seconds, the Boredoms, Phillip Roebuck and ATombombpocketknife all deserve honourable mentions as well. I'm sure I'm forgetting some as well.

Only major disappointment was Cat Power. Saw her last year at the Union Chapel and she was excellant. This time she just looked nervous and she was way to quiet. Seeing her again on Wednesday and I hope she is more impressive then that.

Anyway this minor disappointment was more then made up for by the excellant bar. Festivals in fields are out as far as I'm concerned. I wasnt decent drink and a warm bed from now on.
