I'm sorry, but why should major record companies be allowed to 'employ' fans to distribute promotional material for free?

It puts me off bands having a mailing list shoved under my nose.

Tho I dont mind free badges.

But surely Warner, Sony, and the rest, can afford to pay people to do this?
