Is it ok to like The Smiths,but not Echo/Bunnymen?

I love The Smiths,but can take or leave Echo and the Bunnymen.The thousands of albums I own don't include a single Echo and the Bunnymen one.Most Smiths fans I know also like EATB.I'm not dissing EATB,but I expect some people to not see it that way :-).Your opinions,please.
