Has anyone created any good compilation CD/tapes following the method that whatever number the track is on the album you take it from, it would have to be that track on the compliation CD?

Like, er, you'd have to start with Planet Telex, or Smells Like Teen Spirit or something, as they're track 1, then you could have Song 2 say, or building steam with a grain of sand, as they are both track 2s...

I was trying to think about forming a really good mix like this and got fairly bogged down...
