LOU REED, 2 MANY DJ'S AND ISOBEL CAMPBELL ARE THE LATEST ADDITIONS TO ESTRELLA DAMM PRIMAVERA SOUND

Legendary New York rocker Lou Reed will land on Estrella Damm Primavera Sound 2006 to spread four decades of electric shivers and dust old achievements with The Velvet Underground or during his long and intense solo career. The event, which takes place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of June at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, will feature Reed’s first eminently electric concert in town since 2000. The man behind “Transformer� and “Berlin� has been aded to a line up that includes Big Star, Violent Femmes, The Flaming Lips, Motörhead, Dinosaur Jr., Killing Joke, Television Personalities and Surfin' Bichos.

Lou Reed’s addition to Estrella Damm Primavera Sound 2006 is followed by other acts including electronic party connoisseurs 2 Many Dj’s, the americana oriented pop of ex Belle & Sebastian Isobel Campbell, the psychedelic 60’s rock of veteran group The Brian Jonestown Massacre, the lo-fi songs of Tender Forever, NYC post-punk by The Rogers Sisters, mutant indie rock by iconoclasts Deerhoof, the lush chamber pop of Sweden’s Jens Lekman and the misty and organic pop by Southern Arts Society.

In the local section, the event will include well established acts such as 12Twelve, Tachenko, Beef and Ainara LeGardon as well as new hopefuls such as Stay, Coconot and Clint.
