i bought this album around the time it came out (2003). i've just listened to it for, i reckon, the second time ever.

and it's bloody gorgeous.

acoustica, eastern european folk, drones, mumbled vocals and subdued choral singing. it's at the same time nothing like his old third eye foundation stuff and an obvious progression from it.

isn't it great when you find gems like that you'd forgotten you had? :)
