I know its very 'retro' but just want to yack on about how ace 'Philaphobia' is by Arab Strap and how out of time it still sounds for 1998 - i personally don't think they have a better album. Aiden Moffatt is in fine form as the tawdry chronicler of tattered love lives in a passionless existence that Malcolm Middleton compliments with fragmented arrangments open spaced arrangements. Its hard to believe that Catatoia were the 'band of the moment' when it came out.
