I mean, how good can one band be? Their entire output is wonderful, But I think University is my favourite album... what a stunning record. EVeryone should own this. But The Real Ramona is so beautiful... Red Heaven has the Rosetta Stone...

And then there are Kristin Hersch's solo records, especially Hips 'n' Makers, and now she's in 50 Foot Wave, who've made one of the best straight up ROCK albums since the millennium.
