I've been waiting fliiping ages for his debut LP 'Color Strip' to come out (it's out on warp next month) and I just 'obtained' it last night. It's totally brilliant. If you've haven't heard of him basically he's this 21 year old genius kid producer/dj/artist/fashion designer/about a million other things and from detroit. Anyway colour strip is full of glitched up electro-hip-hop style beats, ridiculously intricate programming, really smooth, melodic synths and chunky detroit techno basslines.

It's the best electronic album I've heard so far this year by FAR. If you like prefuse 73 then this is REALLY for you, it totally puts Security Screenings to shame, which I thought was kind of average anyway. But yeah, get EEEEEEET! And his 2 other EPs are worth checking out if you like this, although some of the tracks from 'bounce, make, model' are on this album.
