i saw mew at academy 2 in manchester last night. really enjoyed it - songs from the new album sounded quite heavy, a nice contrast to the softer stuff of old.

the visuals on the bigh screen were interesting. lots of weird little girl/puppet/beardy-face things singing along with the songs. kind of looked like a chris cunningham interpretation of a borthers grimm fairy tale.

anyone else seen them on this tour? opinions?
