you discover some really great bands and none of your mates listen to you about them? I mean, you say "mate, you should check out *insert band name here* their really good, sound like etc, you will love them" and they just don't give a fuck or cant be arsed. I mean, that just pisses me off. I know we cant all like the same thing, but when it is something that is intune with what they originally like, then at least they should take a bit of notice. I'm suffering here, as a lot of my mates seem to think i am odd what with my obsession with collecting new bands. For instance, Les Incompetents (i realise they were playing in London tonight) I think are great, but will anyone listen? probably not. which is a shame. The same with Fickle Public who I think are fucking awesome but its like an uphill sog to get my friends interested. The answer may well be to get new friends I know. But am i being a snob? I don't know. sorry for the rambling, you may destroy me now.
