Isn't it right annoying when you've been into a band for a pretty long time, and suddenly they become really popular... that's ok, but then comes their name and music, EVERYWHERE.

Its a shame, because I enjoy listening to them, like I enjoy listening to most of the music I'm into: in moderation.

If I read Arctic Monkeys' name one more time, I swear I'll throw something at someone.

"Oooh, have you heard 'When the Sun Goes Down'? Its great and I'm buying their album today!!"

"ARCTIC MONKEYS WITH THEIR BRAND NEW ALBUM!!!..."

Has a band been hyped as much as these in the past ten years? The number 1's obviously added to it.

Also, what will happen to them? A Strokes-style rubbish follow up? Or will they do an Oasis?

I want predictions. Fucking NME.
