i know this is slightly old news and it's not even that important as david bazan is still recording under his own name, but still! i've been listening to Control, Winners Never Quit and It's Hard To Find A Friend a lot recently and it's struck me what a songwriter he is.

if you hadn't heard, the news only said that TW Walsh wouldn't be recording with bazan for some time and so the Pedro name would be shelved with no plans to revive it right now. double shame as 'pedro the lion' is a great name. oh well.
