I'm looking at a lot of the bands the cool kids of DiS champion, and their personal projects, and finding it pretty... let's say, 'different'.

No, let's not. Apparently, its just a phase, according to King BL, but all I hear is funny noises playing back over and over with spoken lyrics.

Now, to some people, this kind of stuff (like Junkplanet and similar) is known as 'art' or whatever. They say its original... but does that mean its good? No.

STOP! Don't touch your key-board, yet! Before you reply, remember that I am aware of my pedestrian snooze rock and boring taste of NME ...zzz... So there's no need to remind me.

But: Where do the fans of stuff like Junkplanet draw the line between music... and intolerable racket?
