I'm no stranger to downloading, oh no sir. In fact I'm a big fan of the "try before you buy" schematic that our beloved interweb has afforded us.

However, doesn't buying music make you want to LIKE it. For example I've just bought four albums (3 of which come from Divers 100 uber geek list)...and I'll be damned if I'm not gonna like them all!

I guess spending money on music (that I haven't already heard) makes me more determined to put in the effort to really listen and appreciate. When it's my hard earned buck on the line I care more than if I had waited for soulseek to deliver it to a folder on my cpu.

I can't believe I've only just realised this.
