Spoon has a more impressive body of work but Alligator takes Gimme Fiction handily in an unanimous decision.

BRMC. Though WS take this one the distance, Howl is a world class gospel, blues, hamonica thingy.

Wolf Parade. On paper these bands match up well, but then how come CYHSY gets KO'd in the first?

NP. The Russian judge scored this one for the Shout Out Louds but no one cries foul. Despite being seriously overmatched, the youngster upstarts make a fight of it.

Coldplay. Both heavyweights look bloted, but Liam and Noel can't find their second wind and throw in the towel in a middle round.
