Listening to PJ Harvey's To Bring You My Love and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' Let Love In, they feel to me similar in tone, sound and approach (quite narrative and dark), and to me they're almost sister albums. Not long afterwards they worked together on Nick Cave's Murder Ballads, perhaps because they saw the similarities.
