So I was watching a Mogwai video on youtube and the drummer from Errors was playing because apparently the Mogwai drummer was unwell. I really enjoyed the performance - had more energy and the drumming added more to the song.

And then I was thinking about when I saw Dinosaur Jr a few years ago and Murph was ill so Kyle Spence (from Harvey Milk) drummed for them and the tempo was much faster and the whole gig rocked so hard.

What other bands or gigs have to been to where a temporary replacement has been better (maybe).
