For me:

1. Born Ruffians - Red, Yellow and Blue (2008) (courtesy of distape club); supreme slice of indie pop, killer tunes all the way through, can't understand how it isn't more popular

2. Rozi Plain - Joined Sometimes Unjoined; her Whileyness played her split single contribution (Jogalong) with Rachael Dadd, but in the absence of a new album, I've really got into her last, released in 2011

3. White Poppy - White Poppy (2013); someone in the drone thread mentioned this for fans of Grouper, not as morose but outstanding from start to finish; would have made my top five last year if I had heard in time

To be honest, these would probably feature in my top 5 for this year (if they'd been released this year).
