I'm in the process of digitising my music collection, 1st of all, did all the CDs on to my IPod Classic. I also have an extensive vinyl collection of LPs, 12" & 7" singles. I'm not sure I want to play them again as vinyl, so was wondering whether it is worth me buying a USB turntable & doing it myself & having a "worthless" bit of kit afterwards, or getting someone else to do it as a 1-off service. I don't really know the relative prices etc of both, so any advice would be welcomed.
