why do so many albums come out on 2xLPs? its so annoying having to flip over the record after 2 or 3 songs. can't ever really sit back and relax to a record on this format. often can't even get the feel for the album as a whole.
is the sound quality meant to be technically superior if done this way? or is it a duration thing? does anyone prefer it over 2 discs? it actually now puts me off buying the record as i know i'll listen to it less.
