DiS Users September Album Of The Month

The same rules/format as the previous months. Feel free to mention as many albums as you like but please make your one album of the month clear as it helps with tallying up the scores easier. Also, if you list a bunch of albums without specifying your favourite I'll take the first one mentioned as your album of the month unless otherwise stated. (Sorry to be such a pedant.)
My album of the month is The Pierces - Creation
(Yeah, sorry.) Probably the most Radio 2 friendly album/band that I've liked this year but irrespective of its uncool it's a very good album and I've heard it far more than any other release this month; some excellent tracks on it. Their Shepherds Bush gig was fun too.
Quite a couple of very disappointing releases this month for me. I was really looking forward to Blonde Redhead and the Karen O albums but both are simply boring for me. I've tickets for both artists this week and I'm hoping for good live shows to make up for poor releases.
I was listening to the new album from The History Of Apple Pie a couple of times just now via a Pitchfork stream. It sounds good but gone are the instant brilliant bubblegum pop that made their debut so good. Instead the songs have a "fuller" sound. I look forward to buying it tomorrow and giving it a few more listens. It sounds promising.
I'm looking forward to some good recommendations from you guys and I'll keep this thread open until Sunday 5th October so that people have almost a week to listen to tomorrow's releases before picking their favourite. As usual forgive any shameless bumps by myself during the week.
