So I've always been, fundamentally, an indie kid who liked a bit of hip-hop. Bit of Nas here, a sprinkling of J Dilla there, but a lot more Arcade Fire and stuff. Last year though I discovered El-P's Cancer 4 Cure, Killer Mike's R.A.P. Music, and particularly the Run The Jewels album they did together. Recently I've come back to those albums and got into them in a reeeeally big way. I also can't stop listening to Rustie. And Big Boi.

So basically I seem to be at an interesting point in my life at a music fan... who wants to introduce me to some incredible stuff along this vein, based on those four/five artists? Just massive sounding stuff with incredibly lush maximalist production. Yeah? CHEERS DiS
